Reaching LDS & MTC via VoIP?

Hello,

I know BYU can take VoIP calls to its phone system, and I was just curious if any of you know whether or not the LDS church headquarters office extensions, or perhaps MTC referral center hot lines can be reached via VoIP as well. I know they have toll free numbers setup, but I just thought a direct VoIP hand off would be more efficient.

Specifically looking for a way of reaching:
800-453-3860 aka 801-240-1000 (main switchboard)
888-537-7700 (general referral line)
888-537-2200 (Book of Mormon pass along card line)

I appologize if this is the wrong place to ask, but I figured there might be a chance someone here might know where I could look.

I was able to successfully call BYU's Academic Counseling department by dialing:

sip:18014223035@sip.byu.edu

I used gizmo-project, but any sip softphone should work

cool!!

i can't answer your question. i didn't even know BYU had a VoIP backdoor! very nice. i just pinged sip.byu.edu and got a reply. any hints on syntax for sending calls to them directly (and cutting out our copper squatting ILEC friends)? also, they have their own exchanges like 378 (old) and 422 (new). are there any others? is the whole network online? like what about the dorms? this is one of the coolest things i have heard in a while!
